Everything You Need to Know About Starbucks' New Rewards Program
You can get more rewards in fewer visits!
(SPOT.ph) The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here: Starbucks is launching their new rewards program on July 17. It’s now easier to get Starbucks Stars, and you can look forward to getting more rewards in fewer visits. Here’s the lowdown on the new program.
First things first: You only have until July 15 to use up your old Stars, but the balance in your old Starbucks Card will remain intact even if the card itself can't be used to pay after the 15th. Starting July 17, you can transfer any remaining balance of P100 or more from your account or unregistered card to a free new card; if your balance is below P100, you’ll get a cash refund.
New members will need to activate a new card and register a new account on Starbucks Rewards’ website. Meanwhile, previous members can simply update their old password and add their new Starbucks Card to their account through the website or the latest app available on Android and iOS.
You can look forward to getting rewards for your purchases, because the new program lets you get one Star with every P25 spent on beverage, food, or merchandise in any Starbucks store store using your registered card or app. For every 100 Stars you collect, you can redeem a handcrafted beverage or food item from their bakery and cake menu for free.
You can also get twice as many Stars on your purchases for the first seven days after joining the program. You get double the Stars when you purchase a featured beverage. Starbucks also plans to have Double Star Days every month so you can get twice as many Stars with your purchases. You can get a free beverage or food item on your birthday, too. We don’t know about you, but we’re saving the date!
