Here's the thing: You can easily make that dream come true right at home with this easy hack that’s recently gone viral on social media. To make it, you’ll need a two-piece set of Chickenjoy plus its accompanying rice and gravy, some oil, and cheese (specifically the kind you use for burgers). While it’s dubbed a “baked” rice dish, Wow.waz prepares it using a bibimbap bowl over the stove—so you can totally make it even without an oven. Just pour some oil at the bottom of the bibimbap bowl, spread the rice over and set it over heat. Slice the Chickenjoy into pieces and put it over the rice, then pour the gravy over and top it with cheese slices. Cover the pot, wait a few minutes, then uncover—you get a bubbly, cheesy dish that features the comforting flavor of fried chicken with extra creaminess from the cheese.

While the recipe is tasty enough as it is, other users have also given it their own must-try twists. The Hungry Traveler PH uses a regular pot, spicy Chickenjoy, and Eden Melt Sarap cheese, while ForkSpoonManila stirs some green onions before adding the rice and also throws in kimchi into the mix.

Feel free to add ingredients like ham bits or chopped vegetables to the rice, or to top your mixture with sriracha or even a fried egg. You're only limited by your imagination, so go ahead and experiment!
