You Can Now Get Manam's Sisig, Crispy Beef Tadyang + More as Solo Meals
Hate having too many leftovers?
(SPOT.ph) Filipino food is tasty, no doubt, but it can be easy to feel left out when you're a solo diner. In line with our communal culture, most of our dishes are served (and sold) in large portions that are meant for sharing—great if you've got a family to feed, not-so-great if you live alone or simply like to eat by yourself (no shame in that!). What if we told you there was a way to have your Filipino-food faves—like Manam's famous House Crispy Sisig—in portions just right for one, in size and in price? Here's the good news: the Filipino restaurant is launching their new Benta Boxes, a.k.a. boxes of solo meals featuring 26 of their bestsellers, complete with sides.
Each Benta Box is a complete meal with a starch and sides. You can't go wrong with the House Crispy Sisig box (P255), which pairs our favorite sisig in Manila with your choice of white or garlic rice and tomato salad or Gising Gising. Craving seafood? Try the Camaron Rebosado box (P290), which also comes with white or garlic rice and tomato salad or Gising Gising.
If it's beef that you seek, try the Sizzling Beef & Oxtail Kaldereta box (P298) with white or garlic rice. Love lamb? Go for the Lamb Adobo box (P398) with white or garlic rice and tomato salad or Gising Gising. You can also get your Pinoy noodle fix with the Pancit Palabok box (P255), which comes with two pieces of Caramelized Patis Wings.
Manam is a Filipino establishment owned by the Moment Group of Restaurants. Formerly called NamNam before expanding in 2014 with a new name, it serves both classic and modern renditions of Filipino eats.
