Listen up, fried-chicken and pizza fans: The Bistro Group and Chef Josh Boutwood have teamed up for a new food concept that specializes in the said two dishes. Dubbed ChowCiao Fried Chicken and Pizza, the restaurant will be open for pickup and delivery starting August 14. Mark your calendars!
In true Chef Josh Boutwood fashion, ChowCiao offers amped-up takes on comfort eats prepared with high-quality ingredients. The Chicken (P220/half, P425/whole) is available in a variety of flavors: There's the flavor-packed Original, spicy Buffalo, Japanese-inspired Honey Miso & Furikake, savory-sweet BBQ, and smoky Chipotle & Queso Fresco—so there's definitely something for everyone. You can also opt to add on Blue Cheese Dressing (P45) or Ranch Dressing (P45) on the side.
For pizzas, ChowCiao covers all bases from classic to contemporary. If you're looking for a tried-and-tested bite, go for the Margherita (P445) with tomato, mozzarella, and basil; the Agliata (P495) with marinated garlic, oregano, and cherry tomatoes; the Napolitana (P495) with tomato, olive, garlic, cherry tomatoes, and anchovies; the Four Cheese (P595) with mozzarella, gorgonzola, asiago, pecorino, and romano cheeses; or the Hawaiian (P550) with tomato, mozzarella, pineapple, and smoked ham.
Love meat? You'll want to try the Spicy Pepperoni (P495) with tomato, chili, pepperoni, mozzarella, oregano; the Prosciutto (P450) with tomato, mozzarella, oregano, arugula, and prosciutto ham; or the Three-meat (P550) with tomato, mozzarella, smoked bacon, fennel sausage, pepperoni, and oregano. And for a not-so-usual pizza experience, try the Truffle (P595) with black truffle, mushroom, mozzarella, and oregano, or the Campagna (P550) with spinach, fennel sausage, mozzarella, and chili.
Still hungry? You can also pair your fried chicken or pizza with Mac n' Cheese (P290) or Wedges (P180/naked, P325/loaded). They've also got drinks like Iced Tea (P75) and Soda in Can (P75) available.
