Eats Out There: This Stunning Mango Shortcake Is Loaded With Fresh Fruit

It's loaded with mangoes and not to mention, a looker, too!

( We spend many of our free hours scrolling endlessly through our Instagram feeds—and when something catches our attention, we feel the need to spread the word. For this week's edition of Eats Out There, we're highlighting a special mango cake we spotted on the feed of food and props stylist Chichi Tullao, also known on social media as Happy Tummy Travels. Dubbed the Mango Shortcake, this ethereal cake by online seller Sainte Anne Cakes Manila has layers of sponge cake, light chantilly cream, and mangoes. It comes topped with more mangoes arranged in such a way that it looks like an intricate flower.

Each cake is topped with mango slices that are arranged to look like an intricate flower.

The Mango Shortcake is available in Special (P1,850) and Extra Special (P2,350) variations, with the latter containing even more mangoes between the cake layers and on top of the entire cake.

It's so light and ethereal that you totally have permission to eat a second (or third) slice!
