Heads Up, Potterheads: You Can Now Get Butterbeer in Bottles
It also happens to be vegan!
(SPOT.ph) In the Harry Potter series, trips to Hogsmeade are always made more special with sips of the magical brew known as butterbeer. While we muggles have yet to be able to travel to the wizarding world, Warner Brothers has brought out perhaps the next best thing: Bottled Butterbeer (£5.95, roughly P370). That's right, it's butterbeer that you can enjoy anytime and anywhere—even at home, right here in the muggle world. It's only available in the U.K. for now, but our fingers are crossed they'll make their way to the Philippines soon!
The Bottled Butterbeer is a butterscotch-flavored softdrink that's non-alcoholic and vegan. It also comes in souvenir glass bottles, with collectable labels designed by Minalima, who has worked on the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. While a number of unofficial bottled "butterbeer" from other brands have popped up over the years, this is said to be the world's first official version—so it's safe to say they've got the taste right.
If you're lucky enough to be in the U.K., the Bottled Butterbeer will be available at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter and the Platform 9¾ shops at London King's Cross Station, Heathrow Airport, and Gatwick Airport. You can also get it online—do note that delivery is limited to the U. K. with a maximum purchase of three bottles per order.
