Goodbye for Now: The Wholesome Table Is Closing Its Doors Temporarily
But they hope to be back soon.
(SPOT.ph) The Wholesome Table, a go-to spot for really good food—in all sense of the word—will be closing their doors for now. On September 21, they announced on their Facebook page that they will be "temporarily suspending all operations" amid the uncertainty of the continuing quarantine.
We hope to serve you again soon! In the meantime, go spend time outdoors and get your free dose of vit. D from the sun....Posted by The Wholesome Table on Monday, September 21, 2020
"This last few months have been really difficult and challenging for everyone," said the statement, and the dining industry has taken a hit as quarantine restrictions continue. The Wholesome Table will close their doors "until the world starts to normalize," they said.
Still, the closure is meant to be temporary, so don't lose hope. "We are hoping this is just a small roadblock, and we'll be back soon to welcome you," they added. Further announcements will be made on their social media pages.
Their first branch in Bonifacio High Street Central was opened by Bianca Araneta Elizalde in 2014. The model and restaurateur's main goal with The Wholesome Table was to introduce people to a haven where "healthy" does not equate to boring, much less tasteless. They opened their second branch in Salcedo Village, Makati City in 2015, and was then followed by outposts in Greenbelt, Alabang Town Center, and Power Plant malls.
