Tiger Sugar Makes Black-Sugar Popcorn and Here's Where to Get It
This is not your ordinary caramel popcorn.
(SPOT.ph) Chances are, you've tried black sugar in boba milk or milk tea—this unrefined sugar has a complex depth of flavor that goes beautifully with the creaminess of milk. But that's not the only way you can enjoy the said ingredient: you can also get it in a crunchy, munchable form that you can savor while binge-watching your fave series du jour. Yup, Tiger Sugar is soon releasing Black Sugar Popcorn—get ready, boba fans!
The Black Sugar Popcorn will go for P799 for a 500-gram pack, and will be available starting October 7 at S&R Membership Shopping branches. It melds the light, crunchy character of popcorn with black sugar's distinctly dark and toffee-like flavor—think caramel popcorn, but all grown up. It's great by itself, but you can also use it to spruce up other desserts, like ice cream. Or, heck, enjoy it alongside a cup of Tiger Sugar's boba drinks!
Tiger Sugar is a Taiwanese brand that came to the Philippines in 2018. They’re known for their brown-sugar boba milk drinks, which are made with fresh dairy and other natural ingredients.
