(SPOT.ph) You can find tons of great cookies in Manila, from chocolate chip to caramel shortbread to ube-flavored versions, too. But have you ever had cookies with miso—yup, as in the Japanese ingredient often utilized in soup and ramen? You might not associate it with cookies, but FRNK implores you to give it a chance with their new Miso Caramel Kukki Nibblers!
FRNK uses real Japanese miso to give these cookies a one-of-a-kind umami, savory note that blends beautifully with the caramel—think of how salt and caramel come together, just interpreted through Japanese flavors. It's normally priced at P715 for a pack of twenty, but for a limited time, you can get it for just P545 if you order from them directly (read: not through delivery apps)—talk about a steal!
The Miso Caramel Kukki Nibblers are available at all branches, but you can also get cookies delivered by sending FRNK a message on Instagram. You can then pick it up yourself or book a courier to pick it up. Orders usually come from their central kitchen in Quezon City, but depending on stocks and customer location they can also divert the pickup location to one of their branches.
FRNK is a brand of Japanese-style drinks and pastries that was established in 2019. They made headlines (and garnered long lines) for their Japanese-inspired line of drinks—among the most famous of which are the ultra-Instagrammable Midnight Ichigo and Dirty Maccha.
