ICYMI: Zomato Pro Is Closing Down in the Philippines
You only have until next month to enjoy the membership benefits.
(SPOT.ph) Zomato users, in case you don't already know, you only have a couple of weeks left to enjoy Zomato Pro benefits. The company announced that the membership program will be shut down in the Philippines on November 30.
"Zomato Pro comes to a close in the Philippines, and you will not be able to avail pro benefits starting November 30, 2020," Zomato Pro writes in the e-mail announcement. "Thank you for trusting us and for letting us play a role in your life."
According to Rappler, pro members will be offered a "prorated refund" which will be credited between two weeks and a month. This will be calculated based on the visits a user made, and takes into consideration the automatic membership extension due to the pandemic. You can send an e-mail to Zomato's customer support for inquiries.
Zomato is a website and app that highlights restaurants in the city. It was founded in India in 2008, initially with the name Foodiebay. While the Zomato Pro membership will be closed down, the app itself will continue to be operational in the Philippines.
