We Can't Get Over This Realistic-Looking Ramyeon Cake
Do we dig in or slice it up?
(SPOT.ph) One baker in Iloilo City has taken the Pinoy love for everything Korean to the next level. The Crazy Cake Lady shop regularly churns out some very #aesthetic personalized cakes but when they received a special order for a "Korean-themed" cake, well, boy, did they deliver. We'll cut straight to the chase; check out the awesome cake below and try not to get your taste buds all confused!

The egg yolks and other cleverly made toppings have us craving some serious umami hits—and then we have to remind ourselves again that this is a cake we're looking at! The cake was made special for a client whose father "got hooked on K-Drama during the quarantine period and emerged a certified oppa," shared the shop on their IG page. The ramyeon is actually ube cake frosted with buttercream, while the "savory" toppings were made with sweet gelatin! "Every single piece of garnish on the cake was edible but in dessert flavors," they added.

To accompany the ramyeon cake, they made a dreamy Korean-style minimalist cake in blue tones. It is actually a carrot cake covered in luscious buttercream. We imagine the birthday celebrant had a real memorable one. Check out some more of their crazy cake creations below!
Speaking of Korean-inspired cakes, here are other places where you can get cakes sporting the Korean minimalist aesthetic.
