(SPOT.ph) When was the last time you had duck? Though less popular than, say, pork or chicken, duck is a tasty and versatile protein with a distinctive taste that's rich and robust by itself, but also takes well to plenty of other flavors. If that got you hankering for it, we've got one uber-tasty suggestion: go for a plate or two of Mister Dandan's Duck Rice.

Mister Dandan is a venture by chef Patrick Go of Gochu-Gang. Right now, they offer the Duck Rice—a dish that highlights tender, juicy duck breast from Guillermo Farm that's wok-fried with duck fat, ginger, garlic, and scallions. It's then paired with duck fat Hainanese-style rice and duck sauce—talk about indulgent! It's not all heft, though: balancing the richness out while adding a welcome crispness is vibrant preserved bok choy, cucumber, and radish. Try to get a bit of everything in each bite to get the full sensation.

You can get a solo serving of the Duck Rice for P440, or go for a sharing portion (good for two to three) for P860. Just keep your eyes on their Facebook and Instagram pages for the next dates that they're taking orders. You can order for pickup and delivery; just send Mister Dandan a message through text, Facebook, or Instagram.
Hungry for more one-of-a-kind savory eats? Other great ones we've had lately are Peñafiel’s Birria Queso Pares and Please, Senpai's Yakitori Bowls.
