Wildflour's Cronut Goes "New Year, New Me" With a Nine-Inch Cake Version
The popular pastry just got bigger!
(SPOT.ph) Any good occasion calls for a good cake, but chances are, you've had one too many of the usual layered cake-plus-frosting variants. If you're looking for a different kind of pastry as the centerpiece of your celebrations, you'll be happy to know that you can now get the Croissant-Donut Cake from no other than Wildflour!
Wildflour's Croissant-Donut Cake is nine inches in diameter—perfect for sharing away with your friends and family! Each "cake" goes for P1,240, and features the same flaky-on-the-outside, creamy-on-the-inside profile of its smaller-sized counterpart. You can get it in any of Wildflour's regular Cronut flavors—choose from the Vanilla, Tiramisu, Hazelnut, Strawberry, Mixed Berry, Dulce de Leche, Calamansi, Ube, Guava, Salted Egg, and Mango Graham.
Place your orders at least two days in advance by sending Wildflour To-Go a message on Instagram or logging on to their website. If you're ordering through the website, take note that they've got a 6 p.m. cutoff daily; payments made after that time will be processed the next day. Wildflour transacts payments through Paymongo, which accommodates payments made over-the-counter or through credit card, debit card, GCash, and GrabPay; they also accept payments made through PayMaya and BDO bank transfer.
Wildflour is a homegrown bakery and restaurant that first opened in 2012. They’re known for their pastries as well as their brunch and dinner specials that take inspiration from cuisines all over the world. Wildflour was also among the first to bring the Cronut—the trendy croissant-doughnut hybrid pastry created by pastry chef Dominique Ansel—to our shores.
this strange new world.
