(SPOT.ph) Baguio is known for being home to great fresh produce, strawberries included—and no trip to the City of Pines is complete without indulging in one (or more) of their amazing strawberry desserts. When you think of strawberry desserts from the area, the first thing that comes to mind is likely Vizco's strawberry shortcake! It's a fave among locals and tourists alike, thanks to its combo of a soft and fluffy cake base, lush cream, and tangy fruit. If you've been missing Vizco's like we have, you'll be happy to know that the restaurant and cake shop is soon opening their own branches in Metro Manila!
According to a post on Vizco's Facebook page, the cake shop will be opening two branches in the Metro: SM Megamall and SM North Edsa Annex.
UPDATE (November 16, 10:22 a.m.): Vizco's has made an announcement that they'll be opening the SM Megamall branch on November 21 the Lower Ground Floor of Building A, near SM Supermart. They'll even be giving away free umbrellas to the first 50 customers, and eco bags for all transactions!
While there's no word yet on the specific items that will be available, our fingers are crossed that their famous strawberry shortcake makes it to their Manila lineup. If you really can't wait, you can hit up one of their Metro Manila resellers in the meantime.
