These Feisty New Platters from CHINO Give You Something to Taco 'Bout
Make it a date at the BGC resto for your next catchup sesh with friends.
(SPOT.ph) The holidays are pretty much the time of the year that many of us make it a point to meet and catch up with our loved ones. And we don't know about you, but reunions are always made more memorable when you've got great food by your side! In particular, tacos are always great crowdpleasers. Their often-zesty, vibrant flavors and ability to meld together different tastes and textures make them pretty universally loved; while their handheld nature makes them easy to eat. If you're looking for a spot where you can reunite with family and friends and bond with great tacos to boot, check out CHINO MNL. They've come out with stellar new taco platters that are perfect for sharing.
Make it a date with these feisty new taco platters at CHINO MNL:
Available for dine-in at their outpost in BGC, CHINO MNL's taco platters each come with six tacos of your choice, blue corn chips, and roasted salsa. Go ahead, pick your taco and take a big bite, or just nosh on the chips while you and your guests exchange tales about the craziness that 2021 has been (we feel ya). There's the Carne Taco Platter (P800) where you can choose two kinds from the following taco flavors: Chicken Fajita, Pulled Pork, Chipotle Chicken, and Duck Carnitas tacos. If seafood or wagyu is the name of the game for you, go for the Supremo Platter (P1,100)—here, you can choose two kinds from the following taco flavors: Crispy Fish, Soft Shell Crab, Grilled Shrimp, and Wagyu Flank Steak. If you're up for some assemble-your-own action you can also go for the DIY Taco Platter (P900); go ahead and choose your two fillings for this platter: Grilled Shrimp, Chicken Fajita, Duck Carnitas, Roasted Vegetables, Pulled Pork, or Chipotle Chicken.
Tacos, of course, are always great—but pair them with a well-crafted drink and your meal is bound to be on a whole another level. CHINO's also came up with new must-try libations, among them Frozen Cocktails (P380). Take your pick from the citrusy Margarita or the sunny Mojito, both of which give you an ice-cold and boozy way to refresh your palate in bites of their savory dishes. Alternatively, you can go for the Sangria (P380) if it's a fresh and fruity sip you seek.
Should you be looking for more heavyweight bites, you don't want to miss their new rice plates that come complete with the Asian staple carb. The hearty Roasted Salmon Rice Plate (P600) for one, pairs the roasted fish with a feisty Veracruz-style salsa for added flava. We recommend dining at their al-fresco area so you can nosh away in the company of fresh air!
And if you're looking to bring the party home, you'll be happy to know they've got Family Sets that are available for takeaway. This includes the family-sized version of the aforementioned Roasted Salmon with Salsa Vera Cruz (P1,200), as well as the spiced and flavor-packed Achiote Roasted Chicken (P950)—both of which are good for four and come complete with rice, tortillas, and salsa. Don't forget the alcohol! CHINO's got a DIY Cocktail Set, which has everything you need to craft up your own beverages at home.
