(SPOT.ph) Dining out of the house—and in particular, outdoors—has become especially appealing in these times. It combines the fun of soaking up the sights of the outside world (a sight not many of us get to say on the daily, in this pandemic) with the universal allure of noshing on great food; and if you follow the right protocols, it can be a relatively safe experience as well. One recently unveiled venture lets you nosh on drool-worthy eats from the likes of Wildflour, Nikkei, and more, in the company of the great live music and the fresh outdoor breeze: Check out Rada Promenade at Rada Street, Legazpi Village in Makati!
Check out this outdoor dining initiative in Legazpi Village, Makati:
The Makati Commercial Estate Association and Ayala Land, Inc., worked with the Makati government for this outdoor-dining initiative. It was set up by converting the former street-parking area into a permanent outdoor dining space to accommodate more customers in Makati's Central Business District. You can expect to dine from restaurants and merchants like Wildflour, Nikkei, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Sarsa, Wicked ‘Wich, and more—talk about a selection.
There's also plenty of greenery around, with additional trees placed at vacant tree wells and movable planters, complete with string lights for a borderline-European street feel. Also present are pet-friendly features, bike-and-dine racks for cyclists, and live music performances to make for an all-senses-engaged, memorable meal.
There's more to come, too. These initiatives are just the first phase of the Rada Promenade project. Among the future plans are to furnish the area with more permanent alfresco spaces, which the Makati Commercial Estate Association (MACEA) aims to complete by 2022.
Rada Promenade is at Rada Street, Legaspi Village, Makati City. For more information, check out the Facebook pages of Ayala Land, Inc. and Make it Makati.
