Box All You Can of Fresh Produce Straight From Farmers at Alabang This Weekend
Yup, get all the greens you can for P699.
(SPOT.ph) Looking for a way to stock up on affordable fruits and vegetables—at the same time getting back into the social space after spending years in lockdown and lending a helping hand? The stars have aligned. NGO Rural Rising PH is providing a way to do all of that, in just 10 minutes.
The group is hosting a three-day, Box-All-You-Can event at Alabang Town Center over the weekend; that's Friday to Sunday, from April 8 to April 10. During the event, participants are given 10 minutes to box up as much of their fresh fruits and vegetables as you can. Whatever you have in your box by the end of the timer is yours for the set price of P699. 10-min slots are available from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on each of the three days.

The three-day event provides a 16 x 16 x 8-inch box, the size of a standard shipping box used to carry common kitchenware (think bowls, glasses, et cetera). Given the package size, no doubt most participants will walk away with an ample supply of produce well below market price.
Rural Rising PH is a non-profit that works to help our farmers. They are working with the Alagang AyalaLand program for this event, sourcing the fresh fruits and vegetables directly from local farmers whose livelihoods were affected by the pandemic. Participating in this event will give said farmers a way to profit directly from their produce. Aside from the main activity, there will also be stalls around the event area from which you can purchase even more produce from various vendors.
This is definitely not an event to miss for those wanting to stock up on fruits and veggies for their healthy diet plans and nutritious snacks. Some examples of the vegetables that are featured in the Box-All-You-Can event are featured below.
Rural Rising PH’s Box-All-You-Can event will be at the Activity Center of Alabang Town Center, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., from Friday, April 8 to Sunday, April 10. Sign up for slots here.
