(SPOT.ph) Kewpie is one of those foreign brands that have practically become a household name. The condiment brand (which originates from Japan, but today also has legs in other countries like Vietnam) is best known for their Japanese mayonnaise that's richer, more umami, and less sweet than Western variations—though they've also got spinoff salad dressings, many with distinctly Japanese or Asian flavor profiles. There's a newcomer on the line's bound to make your veggies sing: check out Kewpie Mango Dressing.

Take your salads out for a fruity spin with this new Kewpie dressing:
Kewpie's Mango Dressing is made in Vietnam, and is said to follow a Japanese recipe. A peek at the ingredients list reveals mango puree as well as a hint of passionfruit juice, making it a fruity-meets-vibrant alternative to the usual creamier, heavier dressings around! Beyond veggies, you can totally experiment with using it to add brightness to chicken or fish dishes, too. You can pick up a bottle at South Supermarket, Hi-Top Supermart, Landmark Supermarket, and Waltermart—but if you can't drop by those stores, you can also order from resellers on Lazada and Shopee, where it goes for roughly P200 a bottle.
Kewpie is a Japanese brand founded all the way back in 1919. They started peddling various sauces and canned goods before launching their famous mayonnaise in 1925—and they remain an icon of modern Japanese food to this day.
