(SPOT.ph) Pasig isn't necessarily the first location that comes to mind when you think of Chinese food—but when the hankering does strike while you're in the area, heading over to Comida China de Manila is a surefire way to sate the craving for classic Binondo comfort fare. Formerly known as Panciteria San Jacinto before changing their name to their current moniker, the restaurant's been a go-to for members of the Filipino-Chinese community, be it for casual everyday meals or for grander celebrations—no wonder they've been going strong since opening in 1996. But their story will be put on a pause for now, as they'll be closing their doors in Pasig soon—and by soon, we mean at the end of May.

Comida China de Manila will be closing down soon:
SPOT.ph was able to confirm the sad news about Comida China de Manila's closure via a call to the restaurant. Their last day open will be on May 31—i.e., just a little less than two weeks from today.

Needless to say, our fingers are crossed that Comida China de Manila reopens—and not too long from now. But for now, we say make your way there while you can and fill up on their signatures—which include roasts, meat and seafood viands, stir-fries, dim sum, noodles, and everything in between. Alternatively, you can order for delivery by giving them a call at 8671-5941, 8671-5942, 7914-0832, 0922-813-5091, or 0917-806-6145.

Comida China de Manila is at FRDC Building, 106 E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue, Barangay Ugong, Pasig City. For more information, check out Comida China de Manila's Facebook page.
