(SPOT.ph) We see you, Spotters—if you're as much a sucker for minimalist interiors and well-crafted cups of joe as we are, then you're probably just counting down the hours until the opening of MUJI's Central Square branch. ICYMI, it opens tomorrow, June 3 and there's plenty to look forward to; and apart from it being their second largest store, it's also home to the very first MUJI Coffee in the country. SPOT.ph got an exclusive first look at the coffee counter, and oh, is it quite the sight:

Take a look at MUJI Coffee, located within the soon-to-open Central Square branch:
Go up the second level and you'll find MUJI Coffee, which goes for a less-is-more vibe reminiscent of small cafés in the Land of the Rising Sun (where MUJI itself hails from!). The brand employs wood in the tables, chairs, and the counter itself, along with will the occasional potted plant for a pop of color. Ergo, you get a totally laid-back feel conducive to hanging out solo or with best buds in tow.

As for the coffee, MUJI will be crafting up brews using local beans certified by the international non-government organization Rainforest Alliance. Go for the Americano (starts at P80/small for hot, starts at P95/medium for cold) for an easy sip, or the Cappuccino (starts at P85/small for hot, starts at P110/medium for cold) for a foamier treat. Should you prefer your coffee on the creamy side, the Café Latte (starts at P100/small for hot, starts at P120/medium for cold) and Café Mocha (starts at P110/small for hot, starts at P125/medium for cold) have got your back. And on the more playful end of the spectrum, they also make a must-try Ichigo Cafe Mocha (P125/medium, P140/large).

Not into coffee? Fret not; the small nook also has tea drinks like the Peach Tea (P100/small, P115/medium) and Matcha Latte (P130/small, P145/medium). Don't forget to check their shelves for sweet and savory nibbles you can have along with these beverages—we're talking sandwiches like the Prosciutto Croissant Sandwich (P215); bread like the Curry Pan (P85) and Chocolate Almond Danish (P125); and cookies like the Matcha Cookies (P150/15 pieces) and Fruit & Nut Belgian Chocolate (P160/seven pieces).

MUJI's Central Square branch is at 3/F Central Square, 5th Avenue corner 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City. For more information, check out MUJI Philippines' Facebook page.
