(SPOT.ph) It's not every day that you find French and Japanese food in the same setting, much less the same sentence—but that definitely changed when Le Petit Soufflé opened their first branch at Century Mall in 2015, and a now-closed second branch at SM Megamall in 2016. The local establishment cooked up one-of-a-kind dishes with a visible French backbone, but also Japanese flair—think squid-ink rice with soft-scrambled eggs a la omurice, cloud-like soufflés covering savory dishes like Japanese curry, matcha-tinged soufflé pancakes, and more. It sure didn't hurt that their interiors were enchanting as heck, what with its countryside-inspired, savvy look complete with greenery and hanging lights. Trust us when we say you'll want to get your fill of their signatures while you still can, though, as the restaurant has announced that it'll be closing permanently by June 15.

Le Petit Souffle is permanently closing their doors:
After seven years of serving up their French-Japanese signatures, Le Petit Soufflé is saying goodbye and closing their doors for good. "Thank you again to our lovely guests!," they write in a post from June 1 on their Instagram. "We can't wait to see what the future holds for us in this next chapter."

But they're not going out without a bang—in fact, they're slashing 50% off prices of selected items. Take your pick from the French Onion Soup (P132.50 from P265), Vegetarian Shoyu Soba (P182.50 from P365), Croque Madame (P230 from P460), and their famous Souffle Pancakes in Classic (P90 from P180), Cream Cheese (P110 from P220), and Matcha (P90 from P180) variations. These are available for orders made for dine-in, takeout, or delivery via the delivery website of their parent restaurant group, Tasteless.

Le Petit Soufflé is at 3/F Century City Mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City. For delivery orders, visit the Le Petit Soufflé section of the Tasteless Food Group's delivery website. You can also check out their Facebook page.
