(SPOT.ph) When hearing the word Malabon, the pancit is sure to follow—or precede, rather. (Then, as an afterthought, “Isn’t that near Navotas? Then, does that mean it often floods there as well?”). Well, if you mean flooding with hot hangout spaces and food destinations—other than the famous Filipino noodle dish, we’ll get to those places soon enough—then the answer is definitely yes.

Next time, don’t make a quick stopover in the city just for the pancit (and/or its delicious Jamico’s Judy Ann’s crispy pata) but also find time to sit down and talk about life for hours on end over a cup of coffee. Because yes, coffee helps us function and unwind at the same time, and yes, more and more coffee nooks have been sprouting around Malabon. Local or not, you'd want to check these out.
