(SPOT.ph) French and Filipino cuisines don't often find themselves together, but magical (read: delish) things happen when you consider two things: France has a rich culinary heritage and we've got great-quality ingredients and artisanal products here in the Philippines. Well, trust Sofitel Manila to bridge the best of the two worlds as they're unveiling a new menu at Le Bar, with a grand launch happening this Thursday, June 16!
Make your way to Sofitel on Thursday for the grand launch of Le Bar's new menu:
Happening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 16, Le Bar—Sofitel Manila's lobby restaurant-slash-bar known for its brooding, cozy ambience—will be launching a new menu crafted by the hotel's Executive Chef Bettina Arguelles featuring Filipino flavors while employing French techniques. Expect sumptuous numbers like the Sea Urchin Luglug, Pan-Seared Barramundi, and a must-try Ensaladang Talong with Smoked Caviar in canapé form, laid out buffet-style for grazing on.
The event is happening in partnership with excellent-quality local players Auro Chocolate, Esguerra Farms, Aba Pardes Hydroponics, and Malagos Farmhouse—and apart from star bites featuring their products, you can also sip on free-flowing Whispering Angel rosé wine in between nibbles.
Excited yet? Seats go for P3,500 net per person—we say gather your best food-loving pals and make it a date on Thursday night. Simply fill out Le Bar's special reservation form to secure your slot; you can also call 8832-6988 or send an email to H6308-FB12@sofitel.com.
Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila is a five-star luxury resort hotel located in Manila, hailing from the French luxury hotel brand of the same name.
