SPOTTED: Is The Coffee Academics Opening in Quezon City?

(SPOT.ph) Hong Kong’s The Coffee Academics made their first splash in Manila just last year—and oh, did they take the local coffee scene by storm. Beginning with their first Philippine branch in BGC and over to their second outpost in Legazpi Village, the coffee shop serves up excellent specialty cups of joe highlighting coffee beans from Hong Kong, as well as must-try eats that include crisp-flaky croissants and even savory eats. With their two existing locations being in the relative south of Manila, it hasn't been as easy for coffee heads in the North to get their fix—but that might just change soon. Check out this boardup of said coffee shop that we spotted in Robinsons Magnolia, Quezon City.

Get excited as The Coffee Academics could be heading to Quezon City:

Yup, we found a boardup hinting at the opening of The Coffee Academics in Robinsons Magnolia—specifically on the Upper Ground Level, right across Lush and near the doorway that leads to the mall's outdoor dining area. At the moment the site appears to be a small box-like structure at the center of the aisle—after all, what better way to take a breather from a busy shopping trip than with a well-crafted cup of joe?

While there's no sure launch date for this branch yet, The Coffee Academics tells SPOT.ph that they're projected to open by July. Fingers crossed for now, and we'll definitely keep you posted! In the meantime, you can always catch them in Makati or BGC, or even order for delivery through GrabFood.
