What Does the Fox Say? Café Kitsuné Is Finally Opening This Month

(SPOT.ph) While a few of us have been fortunate enough to dip our toes back in traveling to different vacation spots within the Philippines, it's admittedly been quite some time since most have been able to travel abroad and enjoy the delicacies of other countries. Besides meeting new people and visiting famous tourist destinations, don't you just miss sitting down in a foreign café while sipping on a refreshingly different cup of joe? We sure do.

Thankfully, we won't have to travel abroad in order to brew that same magical feeling again. Spotted last year, Café Kitsuné is opening its first Philippine branch in The Podium, located in Ortigas Center, and now we have the final, bean-spilling confirmation that the café is opening its doors this month, as in July.

Here's what's brewing at the first Cafe Kitsune branch in the Philippines:

The modern, Paris-meets-Tokyo café will bring to the Philippines many of their popular dishes, including a burger styled as beef teriyaki tartare with bacon, fried egg, and comté; the croque-monsieur with tuna, lemongrass, and ginger; as well as their special bechamel sauce.

You can also partake of their desserts, which include mochi made of seasonal fruits and carpaccio served with Sichuan pepper and Thai basilic syrup, or their cocktail menu if you're looking for a different kind of buzz.

Part of a French-Japanese collective that includes fashion brand Maison Kitsuné and music label Kitsuné Musique, Café Kitsuné first opened in 2013 in Tokyo, where its rich coffee and the welcoming and elegant atmosphere of its café were able to make it a cult favorite among local coffee lovers. The café has since expanded to 20 different locations around the world, including Paris, New York, Seoul, Beijing, and Vancouver.
