(SPOT.ph) It's been a whopping three decades since EDSA Shangri-La—the first of the hotel brand's outposts in the Philippines—opened its doors. Over the years they've become a go-to not just for vacations and staycations, but also for their restaurants that deliver star flavors across different genres. Whether you're a newcomer or a regular that's spent all your birthdays at their resident dining spots, you'll want to pay the hotel a visit (or revisit) soon as they've got special set menus and themed spreads across their different restaurants!

EDSA Shangri-La turns 30, and you're in for a treat if you love good food:

Senju is EDSA Shangri-La's Japanese spot known for their great takes on classic dishes, and they've got a special set menu (P4,000 nett/head) featuring some of the restaurant's signatures: sashimi, nigiri, and sushi rolls; their signature teppanyaki with Saikoro steak; and teppan shrimp. Do take note however that the special set menu is only available until August 31.

The hotel's Chinese establishment Summer Palace also joins in the shindig with their own anniversary set menu (P6,160 nett/head) of dishes that "represent success, abundance, and prosperity"—think steamed baby abalone dumplings as part of the appetizers; a braised supreme seafood soup for the soup course; mains of baked cod fish, lamb chops, and braised lobster with noodles in superior stock; and chilled desserts.

You'll also be able to sate the seafood hankering over at their in-house buffet HEAT, as they've got a Catch, their Friday seafood buffet special (with dishes like crawfish!) going for P3,500. And for a no-fail dose of Filipino flavors, book a seat at Alab—their Filipino-themed buffet that highlights regional Filipino eats.
