(SPOT.ph) It was only about a month and a half ago that Hong Kong's The Coffee Academics made their way to Quezon City, in the form of their To-Go leg's recently opened outpost in Robinsons Magnolia. This time around, folks in Mandaluyong can also get their dose of their winning cups of joe and croissants as their newest branch at SM Megamall is now on soft opening.

You'll find The Coffee Academics To-Go's newest branch at Mega Fashion Hall, specifically on the ground floor, right across the boutique of Estee Lauder. It goes for a similar black-and-white overall look with the occasional splash of gold, similar to their other branches—which gives the stall a bit of an elegant feel while retaining the overall casual atmosphere the brand's come to be known for.
As with their other branches, you can drop by the SM Megamall branch to get your fill of their famous cups of joe. Go for simple brews like the Steam (P155/iced) a.k.a. their iced steamed espresso, or the creamy Flat White (P180/hot); they've also got their more distinctive lattes like the sweet-peppery Agave (P210/hot, P220/iced), Indonesian-style Jawa (P230/hot, P240/iced), and deep, caramel-y Okinawa (P210/hot, P220/iced) sweetened with Japanese dark brown sugar. Pair your coffee with one or more of their croissants—the Megamall branch will be having the Black Coconut, Classic, Chocolate, Three Cheese, Custard, Ube Cheese, and Pork Floss variants—and you'll be all set for a chill afternoon, pre- or post-shopping.
