Catch a screening of Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita and Transit

(SPOT.ph) Looking for something to do this weekend? Head to Teatrino at Promenade, Greenhills in San Juan City for a screening of two local indie films.
First, catch Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita at 5 p.m. The movie is a coming-of-age story of a young girl (13-year-old Teri Malvar) who falls for an older woman (Angel Aquino). Directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, it’s a lighthearted take on first love. Read our movie review here.
Transit, which starts at 7:30 p.m., tells the story of Moises and Janet, two single Filipino parents who hide their children from the Israeli government after they hear about a plan to deport all the children of foreign workers. The film is directed by Hanna Espia and stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Ping Medina, and Irma Adlawan. Read our interview with the director here.
Tickets for each movie are at P200, which you can buy directly at Greenhills Cinema (Promenade or Theater Mall). For ticket reservations, call 721-2949 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seats are on a first come, first served basis.
