(SPOT.ph) Touted as the country’s first and foremost affordable art fair, Art in the Park marks its 10th anniversary on April 3 at Jaime Velazquez Park, Salcedo Village, Makati. Having started with only 12 art galleries in 2006, this year's fair will feature 60 art galleries, collectives, and student groups.Â

A piece from the Dialogue series by Pancho Francisco, to be featured by Metro Gallery
Â
To celebrate the milestone, Art in the Park will reproduce signed limited-edition collectibles by 10 artists including Marina Cruz, Charlie Co, and Geraldine Javier, to be available at the fair along with a wide assortment of artworks priced at P40,000 and below. We're especially excited to see an installation of life-sized wax sculptures by Daniel dela Cruz (you might remember him from His Only Son, the Art Cube exhibit at Art Fair Philippines 2016), as well as an installation of welded metal sculptures by Sam Penaso.
Â
In 2014, the park was illuminated at nightfall with Olivia d' Aboville's poppy installation.
Â
Art in the Park is a project of the Museum Foundation of the Philippines and Philippine Art Events, Inc. for the benefit of the National Museum.
Â
Art in the Park is on Sunday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Jaime Velazquez Park, Salcedo Village, Makati City. Visit Art in the Park’s Facebook page for more details.
