(SPOT.ph) Live music is always a good thing. Live music for a good cause? Even better.
AVA Prime Media & Events, the Philippine Life Insurance Association, Inc., and Resorts World Manila present Life Rocks Vol. I, the first of a series of concerts that aim to provide scholarships for children orphaned by Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan and other recent calamities. Beneficiaries will be selected through a partnership with the Museo Pambata, and the scholarship program of the Manila Symphony Orchestra.
The first concert will be held tonight, October 23, 8 p.m. at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila. The two-hour show will feature Imago, Sandwich, Radioactive Sago Project, Tres Marias, Razorback, Maegan Aguilar, Ebe Dancel, Noli Aurillo, Basti Artadi, and Kjwan. Here’s the fun part: Expect a lineup of new and familiar songs, thanks to the unlikely musical collaboration between your OPM favorites and the Manila Symphony Orchestra. The music will be rearranged by Radioactive Sago Project’s Francis De Veyra.
