Sneak Peek: Valkyrie at The Palace, Bonifacio Global City

A few things you should know before heading to the newest party destination that's the talk of the town

Valkyrie at the Palace

(SPOT.ph) There is no denying that Manila is a good place to be at if you're a night owl, especially when you're looking to go out for drinks and all-night dancing. There's really no need to wait for the weekend if you want to celebrate or just have fun on any given day of the week.

If you happen to be one of these night owls, then you're likely to head over to The Fort to get your dose of weekly fun. There are already at least seven clubs at Bonifacio Global City alone and among them now stands The Palace, a "nightlife complex" which promises to provide the biggest party scene with swimming pools available during the day; a gastro pub; and even a few restaurants. Once complete, the whole venue can hold up to 10,000 people, offering a number of ways to party all day and all night long.

Valkyrie is the first boutique club to open at The Palace. The opening night last November 20 was strictly by invitation only, attended by celebrities and Manila's "it" crowd. In case you haven't heard about it yet, here's a sneak peek at what everyone's been talking about on their newsfeeds:

Valkyrie is the biggest club in the country can hold up to 2,000 people

The Vibe: Valkyrie is now the biggest club in the country, holding up to 2,000 people. The idea is like partying in a club at Ibiza without having to buy a plane ticket. For those who want to have a little privacy, there are six skyboxes at the balcony of the club which are the VIP areas-but be ready to splurge a little more. Expect it to be similar to Republiq in Resorts World, only on a more massive (and we mean massive) scale.

The Crowd: Since the club is by the same group behind Republiq, 71 Gramercy, Prive, and Universe, expect the same crowd, so more of the yuppies and less of the college buddies. And haven't you seen your friends' and celebrities' posts on Instagram? Basically, Valkyrie is the place to be seen in so expect everyone (who's anyone) to be there.

Dress Code: Dress to impress. For the ladies, we suggest you get three sets from your closet (or more), lay it on your bed, then take time to choose the best one. Strictly no shorts, sandals, and sleeveless shirts for the men, and no slippers for the ladies.

The Bathroom: Take time to gossip with your girlfriends, fix your makeup, or take a breather from the chaos outside. Valkyrie's bathrooms are big and comfortable, and for the ladies, you'll find some huge mirrors to your right, perfect for selfies and OOTDs. So make yourself comfortable.

The Food: If you'd rather eat than have one drink after another, Valkyrie has some yummy bar chow for you, served up by Chef Mikko Reyes of Hungry Hound and Niner Ichi Nana. We recommend the Spicy Tuna Nachos, Foie Gras Nigiri Sushi Roll, or one of their Baked Oysters.

The Drinks: What is a party without the drinks? Get your night started with one of Valkyrie's signature cocktails. Have a glass of Belvedere Caipiroska Your Way, Ciroc 5, or Henessy Ginger Mojito. Drink, dance, then have another round!

Valkyrie is located at The Palace, 9th Avenue corner 36th Street, Uptown Bonifacio, Bonifacio Global City. For more info and reservations, contact 0917-680-8888.
