Heads Up, Kitty Lovers: Here's How You Can Help the Cats of Technohub
It's a pay-what-you-want charity gig!
(SPOT.ph) North kids will know the not-so-hidden gem that is U.P.-Ayala Technohub. The establishment is mainly made up of offices, but visitors can dine at the restaurants located around the ever-spouting water fountain in the middle (you know the one). Any regular would also know that aside from the chance sighting of the ducks and their ducklings frolicking around in the surrounding pond, you'll also find the cutest cats and kittens in the area.
Employees from the surrounding offices have grown to love the cats so much that they've formed a group called the Cats of Technohub in an effort to make sure that the furbabies are well cared for. And if you want to help them out—and have some fun in the process—you might want to drop by Furiosa X Sadfest: A Benefit Gig for the Cats of Technohub. The charity gig is happening on September 28 at 6 p.m. at Mow's Bar in Quezon City. There are no ticket prices—you can pay what you want. All proceeds of the event will be heading straight to the Cats of Technohub volunteers to make sure the cats are healthy and well-fed.
The gig will feature nine local acts, namely, Calix X skinxbones, Forestille, Grandi Oso, Kapitan Kulam, Ploverstream, The Beauty of Doubt, The Rave Tapes, Turntides, and Washington Drama Club. There will also be adorable cat merch—like stickers and pins—from The Offbeat Cat.
