Local and international tattoo artists, skin art enthusiasts, musicians, and celebrities flocked at the World Trade Center last week for Dutdutan X: A Decade of Artistic Ink. Dutdutan, now on its 10th year, is an annual tattoo festival presented by Tribal Gear Philippines.
At the event were action star and TV host Robin Padilla and wife Mariel Rodriguez, dancer and commercial model Gab Valenciano, TV host and radio DJ KC Montero, sexy star Paloma, Brazilian model Daiana Menezes, singer Duncan Ramos, model Will Devaughn, actor Matt Evans, and the Boys Night Out trio--Sam YG, Tony Toni, and Slick Rick--who hosted the event.
Tattoo fanatics had a jampacked agenda with all the activities offered by the festival: a tattoo convention and competition, a body piercing contest, a bikini contest, a drum duel, the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC), and live (gigs) musical numbers.
Among the long lineup of participating artists at the convention were Skinworkz, Tribal Ink, Skin Graphics Tattoo & Body Piercing, Shadowink, and Republic Tattoo. The tattoo competition was judged by Tribal Gear founder Bobby Ruiz, POD drummer Noah "Wuv" Bernardo, singer and tattoo artist Franco Reyes, and multimedia expert Willie T. Filipino rock bands Imago, Sandwich, Franco, Pedicab, Valley of Chrome, Kamikazee, and Grin Department performed live to keep the night rocking.
