( You already know who you’re going to be this Halloween. In fact, you have your props, costume, and even makeup ready. And, let’s not forget that pumpkin lootbag-waiting to be filled with sweets! Everything is set, but do you know where to go?


We’re not here to tell you where to get the best candies (we’ll leave that to you), but we do know where the fun is at. Here’s a roundup of parties and events you should be going to if you want to have an awesome time this Halloween. Easy on the sweets, folks!



Makati After Dark: Run and Survive Hallowfest

Head over to the biggest street festival on October 31, 6 p.m. at Makati. Join the Run & Survive Race where you’ll be running from 3,000 zombies, live it up at the Hallowfest with your friends with performances by different live bands, or have a feast at the Mercanto Centrale tent for cheap grub.

Black Party Manila X: Biggest Halloween Dance Party

Dance to the beats of a powerhouse of DJs (Funk Avy, Miki Taka, Cal Soesanto, and Jay Santos) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Center on October 26, 8 p.m. at the biggest Halloween dance party this year. Scream Night Halloween Party at Straight Up Bar, SEDA Bonifacio Global City Hotel

Don your scariest ensemble (make the effort and you might win a prize!) and enjoy a night of chills and thrills at Straight Up, the roof deck bar of Seda BGC hotel on October 31, Thursday9 p.m. Tickets are priced at P1,000 with a free cocktail, and may be purchased at the Front Desk or Straight Up.

Halloween Haunts Scream Park Manila

Gather your friends for a spooky night at the the newest horror theme park in Manila, Scream Park at Pasay City. Open from October 31 to January 14 (Wednesday to Sunday), experience horror with three scare mazes, street performers, and live shows. Tickets are priced at P600 (adults) and P400 (children under 13 years old). Get P100 off the presale tickets until November 3.

SCI FI: QUE HORROR!!! Halloween Party at Today x Future


Watch live bands perform and drink the night away at Today x Future on October 31, 10 p.m.


A Shower of Sweetness at Bonifacio High Street

For the kids, head over to the Bonifacio High Street Activity Center (in front of Krispy Kreme) on October 26, Saturday, at 2 p.m. for an afternoon of fun activities! From face-painting to the good ol’ trick-or-treating, there are lots of booths to enjoy. Don’t forget to wear a costume to win prizes. Registration starts at 2 p.m. (Entrance is free for every single-receipt purchase of at least P1,500 at any store in Bonifacio High Street on October 26)

Tomorrowland: Rockwell Halloween Party

Enjoy a futuristic Halloween at the Rockwell Tent on October 27, 12 p.m. with the family! One ticket (P600/one kid and an adult companion; P200/additional) gives you a lootbag and access to all activities. Get ready for a fun black light show, interactive story-telling, and more. Tickets are available at the Power Plant Mall Admin Office (P1 Level) and the Mall Concierge Desk (R1 Level).

Wonderful Oz Halloween at Diamond Hotel

Get the kids in a fun Halloween mood and take a trip down the yellow brick road going to Diamond Hotel at the Diamond Ballroom on October 27. There will be activities such as face-painting, photobooth, illusion show, and more! Tickets are priced at P800 per person (kids and adults).

SoBewitched at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila

Dine at Spiral for lunch or dinner and treat your kids to some spine-tingling spooks. Activities such as face-painting and storytelling will happen during the program on October 31, from 3 to 6 p.m. Lunch buffet rate is priced at P2,432 per person and P1,800 per child (5 to 11 years old).

Make sure your kids don their best costumes for Halloween at SM Supermalls’ Enchanted Halloween activities from October 15 to 31. Join the Enchanted Costume Contest (present your P1,000 single or accumulated receipt from participating stores and your costume to register), go trick-or-treating around the mall, or head to the Enchanted Halloween Fair for scary costumes, pumpkin pails, and candies.

10th Scaredy Cats and Dogs: A Halloween Event for the Benefit of PAWS

Pet lovers unite! Dress your pet and yourself in spooky costumes and head over to Eastwood Mall Open Park on October 26, Saturday for a fun Halloween party. Join the costume competition (there are three-for dogs, cats, and kids), go trick-or-treating, watch live bands perform, and more! Registration fee is P250 and starts at 9 a.m.
