Actress Bae Doona plays the role of a headstrong physician (who might just be able to find a cure for the mysterious disease), and fans will be thrilled to know that she'll be appearing on U.S. Vogue's April issue—making her the first Korean to be featured on the magazine's cover since its inception 127 years ago.

The 39-year-old Korean actress will appear alongside Scarlett Johansson and Indian actress Deepike Padukone, while the full spread features other 11 more actresses from all over the world as part of the magazine's salute to "global superstars."
