Actor and musician James Reid turned 27 years old today, May 11, and we're sure fans everywhere have been celebrating by streaming his films and blasting his tunes. And just when we thought the star's big day was enough cause for a celebration, things got even more exciting: Reid's long-time love-team partner Nadine Lustre just posted a photo with Reid on her Instagram page—a low-key birthday greeting, perhaps? Yes, we know they they're officially broken up, but true-blue Jadine fans know that most of us are far from having moved on.
Lustre shared a black-and-white photo with Reid, where they are sitting atop a mountain with a lone "seedling" emoji for her caption—whatever subliminal messages you want to attach to that choice of emoji is completely up to you. If you've been religiously following Reid's and Lustre's social media posts, you may have noticed that Reid shared a similar photo of the two in January (before their split was public) when they took a trip with friends to Mount Ulap. Judging by their outfits and setting, it seems Lustre's photo was taken that same day.

The couple formally announced their breakup in January by releasing a joint statement, saying: "After quiet and mature conversations, we decided to focus on ourselves not only for our careers but more for our personal growth as we are still young and we want to achieve as much as we can."
Though the statement confirms the ex-couple's separation, JaDine fans everywhere couldn't help but freak out over Lustre's post, perhaps feeling a spark of hope that the two may still reunite. To add to fans' speculation, Lustre also shared an Instagram post from IG account @wildssouls on her story. "Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but happy," reads the caption of the post.
