BVerse Manila: What to Expect, Prices + More

(SPOT.ph) It only seemed like yesterday that the boys of South Korean boy group BTS enlisted one by one, and now their eldest, Jin, is just a month away from being discharged and greeting fans once more. This calls for celebration, and if you're missing the other six, it's the perfect time to visit the BVerse interactive exhibit which has arrived in Manila so you can relive the journey of the group and the members over the years.

Earlier this year, we told you the virtual reality exhibition would make a stopover in the Philippines after being held in other countries like Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand. The local edition of the "BTS, Singing the Stars" VR Exhibition will be held at Level 4 of the New Gateway Mall 2 at Araneta City from May 17 to August 16.

SPOT.ph got the chance to enter the exhibit early and we're to show you what to expect and provide tips and tricks to make the most of your visit.

Here's your first look into the BVerse Manila exhibit

Before we even enter, we were given a Zip Lock Pouch with a random photocard and a battery-operated ARMY star badge. All pass-holders are entitled to these gifts.

VR Room

The first part of the exhibit is an all-white room with rows upon rows of VR glasses mounted on stands and plugged to a power outlet. It reminds us a lot of the N.O music video, sans all the school rebellion and oppressive figureheads—just cool technological advancement in a sleek setting.

Enjoy BTS's performance like you never have before with the help of virtual reality technology. Each attendee is given an eye mask for the VR glasses, which provide a crazy up-close HD view of all seven members during their The Fact Music Awards performances. We got to watch four songs and believe us when we say this is the highlight of the entire exhibit. It's like they're standing right in front of you.

Each detail is crisp and clear and we wish we could embed that onto our brains forever. Color us impressed.

Orbital Tunnel

The Orbital Tunnel is a pretty rad thoroughfare decked in blue LED lights. Not much happens here but you can bt you can take a cool photo or selfie for the 'Gram.

BTS Universe

A mountain of presents covered in mint-green wrapper greets you the second you enter BTS Universe. Each member takes up their own screen, presenting a gift in different poses.

Galaxy Aisle

We're headed to another thoroughfare next: the Galaxy Aisle. It's a hallway with signs leading you to the individual member rooms, each one curtained up. We say it's the best place to get a photo, but it can get cramped so remember to take turns with fellow fans!

Individual Member Photo Rooms

Now this is the part you have to put your phone away because photos are not allowed in any of the member rooms. Each chamber features photos of the member, decorated to match the artist's vibe and personality.

They have RM's Nature Planet, an indoor garden that expresses RM's passion for nature and art; Jin's Satellite, a dreamy space with several moons; Suga's Art Planet, a neon-lit space that highlights his multiple talents; J-Hope's Hope Planet, an industrial street space that showcases the artist's roots and free spirit; Jimin's Aqua Planet, which showcases the dancer's fluidity and clarity, V's Film Planet, a space inspired by film and photography, and Jungkook's Prism Planet, a room that resembles a prism that reflects the artist's many facets.

Army Way

Another chamber that prohibits photos, the Army Way catalogs the group's journey with the fans, captured through iconic photography, quotes, concert messages, and lyrics. Remember when you first became a fan? Remember all the struggles they faced? Stew in your feels here.

TMA History

All the TMA Awards winners are seen here, from 2020 to 2022. Again, no photographs, but rest assured that your fave K-Pop groups are present.

Post Show: Meteor Shower

Welcome to the last stop of the exhibit, which is a room with 360-degree screens showcasing BTS's performances at the TMAs over the years. No photos allowed again.

Gift Shop and BVerse Merch

Time to drop the cash. There are member-specific merchandise like the clear files, but there are also OT7 goods like the postcard set and the 2024 Calendar. We had our eyes set on the shirts, which are available in black and white.

Postcards (P500), calendars (P1,200), brochures (P1,300), and tote bags (P950) are available for purchase at the gift shop. We also spotted clear files (P1,320) and shirts (P1,400) up for grabs.

Photo Zone

All seven members of BTS await you at the photo zone—standees of them, at least. There's a spot in the middle just for you. We expect their to be lines at the standees, so plan your poses and reels ideas ahead of time so you can quickly snap those photos.

How much are tickets for BVerse Manila

Regular passes are be sold at P1,500 and flexi passes for P1,900. Regular Passes allow attendees to book a specific time and date. The Flexi Passes can be used at any time on a booked date. Do take note of the P60 online convenience fee you have to pay on top of your chosen ticket.

Where to buy tickets for BVerse Manila

Tickets will be available at Ticketnet.com.ph and you can buy up to 10 tickets per transaction.

You can drop by the Ticketnet Box Office at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Yellow Gate to purchase passes in person. Payments via debit card, credit card, and e-wallets will be accepted.
