Manny Pacquiao Joins Netflix’s Physical: Asia for 2025

(SPOT.ph) Our very own Manny Pacquiao is stepping back into the global spotlight—but this time it won't be inside a boxing ring. The eight-division world champion has officially joined Physical: Asia, the upcoming Netflix survival reality series that serves as the third season of Physical:100.

Unlike the previous two seasons that exclusively featured 100 athletes from South Korea, Physical: Asia broadens the competition by bringing in participants from across the continent. Pacquiao will represent the Philippines in the competition.

“He's not a K-idol, pero si idol pa rin 'yan! Manny Pacquiao has arrived in Korea for Physical: Asia,” Netflix wrote in a post. He was accompanied by his wife, Jinkee, as they headed to the filming location.

What we know about Physical: Asia so far

The most important thing to know is Physical: Asia will introduce a team-based format, with contestants competing to claim the title of the strongest country in Asia.

"If a single teammate falls, the entire squad is eliminated,” Netflix said in a press release.

Pacquiao is the first revealed contestant for Physical: Asia.

He holds an unparalleled record as the only fighter to win titles in eight different weight divisions. He is also the first boxer to claim world championship titles across four decades, from the 1990s to the 2020s. At 40 years old, he became the oldest welterweight world champion in history.

Netflix has yet to reveal details about the specific challenges or the full roster of participants, but we do know that Physical: Asia is set to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2025.
