5 Memorable Scenes From The Notebook That Should be in the TV Show

If you're a bird, I'm...another TV adaptation.

(SPOT.ph) Adaptations are a tricky thing. There are some rare gems that work, but there are others that just make you wish they never tried in the first place. The latest onscreen adaptation is reported to be Nicholas Sparks' The Notebook, which starred Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams and their amazing chemistry.

The CW (The Vampire Diaries, The Flash, Arrow) will bring the beloved story of Noah and Allie to life, but the series is still in the early development stage. There's no word on who will star (sadly, it's likely that it won't be McGosling) or how faithful it will be to the book or the movie.

We are firm believers in leaving a good thing alone, but now that the big news is out there, we are at least hoping to see these scenes on our TV screens. Oh, who are we kidding? We just want an excuse to rewatch them again.

Noah asks Allie to go out with him

Nothing says "grand gesture" like risking your life by hanging off a ferris wheel.

Noah and Allie dance in the middle of an empty street

A.K.A. the scene that raised the bar for first dates everywhere.

Their dramatic confrontation scene in the rain

It's only the most unforgettable scene in the entire movie.

The moment when Allie has to choose between Noah and Lon

We can't see through the tears.

The last scene

When will the tears stop?!!
