(SPOT.ph) How to Get Away with Murder star Viola Davis just showed us how to get away with a really awesome acceptance speech.
The actress bagged the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress for her role as a tough law professor on the hit show, making her the first black actress in history to win the award. She started her acceptance speech with a quote from civil rights activist, Harriet Tubman.

She also thanked other fellow actresses of color including fellow nominees Scandal's Kerry Washington and Empire's Taraji P. Henson.
Meanwhile, HBO's Game of Thrones also made history at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. The show won 12 Emmys, the most any series has won in a single year. Its awards include Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Writing, and the coveted Outstanding Drama Series.
