Ian Veneracion is crazy charming in this new MMFF trailer
We'd probably watch it just for him.
(SPOT.ph) After a few behind-the-scenes road bumps, it looks like All You Need is Pag-Ibig has finally arrived—just in time for this month's upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
Star Cinema released the first trailer over the weekend, featuring a star-studded cast with a witty and relatable script. The feel-good film zeroes in on the different kinds of love we've all probably experienced at one point in our lives.
For instance, Ian Veneracion pairs up with his Pangako Sa 'Yo co-star Jodi Sta. Maria in a story about blossoming love. (He appears in the trailer for just a couple of seconds, but it's enough to put a goofy smile on your face.) Meanwhile, real-life sweethearts and love-team tandem Xian Lim and Kim Chiu will portray love that is both unsure and confusing. Derek Ramsay will also add more eye candy for moviegoers, playing one-half of a relationship that has fallen apart.
It's not just romantic love; Kris Aquino's guiding, motherly relationship towards Xian is there, as well as a little sibling rivalry from child stars Julia and Talia Concio.
The film is helmed by director Antoinette Jadaone, whose charming filmography includes That Thing Called Tadhana and the currently airing On the Wings of Love. It hits theaters alongside other MMFF entries on December 25.
