WATCH: Liza Soberano plays an Italian princess in the new trailer for Dolce Amore
The trailer will make you want to learn Italian, too!
(SPOT.ph) The first full trailer for Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's much-awaited return to TV is finally here! The trailer, which was released on January 25, tells the backstory of Serena (Soberano), a Filipino adopted into a royal family in Italy.
Her parents (played by Ruben Soriquez and Cherie Gil) raise her as their own, but even as a child, she longs for a normal life. We also get a glimpse of her wealthy Italian best friend, Giancarlo (played by Matteo Guidicelli), whom she eventually must marry.
We still don't know if Serena is aware of her parentage and Enrique's character (an ordinary boy living in Manila) has yet to make an appearance in the trailer. The show is helmed by their Forevermore director, Cathy Garcia-Molina, and is slated to hit primetime TV on February 15.
