Don't Give Up On Us (2006)

This 2006 film marked the fifth onscreen team-up of Judy Ann Santos and Piolo Pascual, Santos plays Abby, a young woman whose search for her missing best friend takes her all the way to Baguio. It's here where she meets Vince (Pascual), who may hold the clue to her friend's whereabouts.

 

 

Milan (2004)

Lino (Piolo Pascual) travels all the way to Italy to search for his missing wife (Iza Calzado). He crosses paths with a jaded (and seasoned) OFW worker named Jenny (Claudine Barretto). Their friendly relationship quickly evolves into an affair that complicates everything.

 

 

Got 2 Believe (2002)

Toni (Claudine Barretto) is a wedding coordinator who deeply believes in romance and true love, yet has never been married. Enter Lorenz (Rico Yan), a wedding photographer who is cynical about love. The two are forced to work together after Lorenz's boss offers him a career boost in exchange for writing an article about Toni's perennial bridesmaid woes.

Written and directed by Jose Javier Reyes, this 1992 film stars Richard Gomez as Armand who is torn between a wealthy woman who hails from a decent family and another woman who harbors a dark secret. The film also stars Dawn Zulueta, Maricel Laxa, and Eddie Gutierrez.

 

 

Kailangan Kita (2002)

Shot in scenic Bicol, the film tells the story of a New York-based celebrity chef named Carl (Aga Muhlach), who flies to the province to marry his supermodel fiancee. Things get complicated when he begins to fall for his fiancee's sister, Lena (Claudine Barretto).

 

 

Forevermore (2002)

In John Lazatin's 2002 film, Jericho Rosales plays Anton, who pays a visit to his ailing grandfather in the province. His grandfather's assistant, Marian (Kristine Hermosa) has been in love with Anton since they were kids, and his return to their small town reignites her hopes of relationship. Unfortunately, the much-older Anton is far different from the young boy she once knew.

 

 

Minsan Minahal Kita (2000)

Sharon Cuneta plays Diane, a submissive and long-suffering wife to the controlling Louie (Edu Manzano). Now That I Have You (2004)

One of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo's earliest projects includes this 2004 rom-com where they play two strangers who ride the MRT together every day. Betsy (Alonzo) is a hopeless romantic while Michael (Cruz) is a cynical and rather uptight accountant. Soon, Betsy begins to daydream about the stranger she sees on the train every day, imagining him as a sweet and romantic hero who sweeps her off her feet. When they finally meet, Michael turns out to be the exact opposite.
