Jennylyn-John Lloyd movie gets same release date as JaDine movie
(SPOT.ph) It looks like two of the most anticipated Pinoy films this year will be going head-to-head at the box-office. Star Cinema's Just The 3 of Us, which stars rom-com powerhouse duo John Lloyd Cruz and Jennylyn Mercado, was originally slated for an April 27 release, but the studio moved the opening date to May 4.
May 4 also happens to the release date of VIVA Films' romance offering, This Time, which stars James Reid and Nadine Lustre. So far, Star Cinema has yet to release a statement on the change of date, but This Time's director, Nuel Naval, took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the issue.

Just The 3 of Us is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, and tells the story of a flight stewardess (Mercado) and a cocky pilot (Cruz), who are forced to move in together after a one-night stand leads to a baby. Meanwhile, This Time revolves around the summer romance of two long-time friends, Ava and Coby (Lustre and Reid, respectively).
