Filipino director Yam Laranas is helming a horror film starring Adam Brody
Here's what we know so far about the movie.
(SPOT.ph) Adam Brody is back on the silver screen with a new film directed by a Filipino filmmaker! He is set to topbill The Wanting, a psychological thriller helmed by Yam Laranas.
Brody and co-star Amanda Crew will play an "all-American couple" who move into a New England neighborhood, unaware of a malevolent presence that will threaten their lives. The film has already begun shooting in Toronto, Canada.

The plot is based on a short story by Laranas and Gin De Mesa. To refresh your memory, Laranas is best known for directing local horror flicks such as 2004's hit Sigaw and 2011's The Road.
Brody is best known for his role as Seth Cohen in The OC, but he also appeared in films like Jennifer's Body in 2009, Scream 4 in 2011, Lovelace in 2013, and Life Partners in 2014. Meanwhile, Crew currently stars in HBO's critically acclaimed comedy, Silicon Valley.
