Amateur filmmakers, here's your chance to screen your work at Cinematheque Centre Manila
Gear up for Home Movie Day this weekend!
(SPOT.ph) Whether you're an aspiring filmmaker or you're a film enthusiast, Cinematheque Centre Manila is the place to be this weekend. Home Movie Day is an annual celebration of amateur filmmaking held in many screening venues around the world. Just head there this Saturday, October 15 at 10 a.m.
Film archivists from the National Film Archives of the Philippines will inspect your films in various formats (super8, 8mm, 16mm, VHS, or Betamax) and possibly screen them in the cinematheque theater! There will also be discussions and demonstrations throughout the day.
If you don't have any movies to screen, you're more than welcome to stay and watch. You can also join games and check out the mini art market, where artists can bring prints, illustrations, drawings, and more.
