WATCH: This new Pinoy comedy will take you back to long road trips with your family
If you've ever traveled with your family, you can probably relate. A lot.
(SPOT.ph) Ah, the holiday season. A time of fun, cheer, and the perfect excuse to travel with your family—that is, until the bickering starts. If you've ever had to sit through a long road trip or heck, even just a lengthy (and awkward) dinner with your family, you can probably relate to this new comedy.
Â
Patay na si Hesus stars Cannes winner Jaclyn Jose as Iyay, a single mother who drags her entire family on a road trip to attend the funeral of their estranged father. Inside the cramped van are her three children: Hubert, who has Down's Syndrome; Jude, who is a lovesick transman; and Jay, whose life is going nowhere.

Directed by Victor Villanueva, the film is a very Pinoy nod to the 2006 dramedy, Little Miss Sunshine. The film is part of this year's QCinema International Film Festival, which runs from October 14 to 22.
