Catch digitally restored Filipino films for just P150 this weekend

Film buffs, make time for these classic gems from Laurice Guillen and Mike De Leon.

( Still on the hunt for something to do this weekend? Make your way to selected malls in Quezon City, and catch a movie or two. The currently running QCinema International Film Festival doesn't just screen indie films; it also offers must-watch classic Filipino films for just P150.



The festival's Back Throwback category features two newly restored and remastered movies: Butch Perez's 1982 film Haplos and Laurice Guillen's 1980 film Kasal? 



QCinema also pays tribute to one of the greatest Filipino directors, Mike De Leon, by screening three of his beloved works: Kung Mangarap Ka't Magising (1977), Kakabakaba Ka Ba? (1980), and Hindi Nahahati Ang Langit (1985).


You can still catch screenings on October 21 and 22 at Trinoma Cinema 1, UP Town Center Cinema 3, Gateway Cineplex 1, and Robinsons Galleria Cinema 7 and 8.
