Mulawin may be getting a TV comeback starring Dennis Trillo

(SPOT.ph) If Dennis Trillo's manager is to be believed, he's set to star in a new Mulawin series next year. The photo by Popoy Caritativito (below) features the award-winning actor with GMA Drama executives, with the hashtags #Mulawin2017 and #MulingPaglipad.

If you've kept up with the currently airing "requel" of Encantadia, the world of Mulawin has already been introduced in the series through characters played by Alden Richards and Miguel Tanfelix.

Dennis was once part of 2004's Mulawin as Gabriel, the third wheel to Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez. (The series eventually catapulted Angel and Richard to fame.) So far, GMA Network has yet to confirm the series and whether it will be a remake, prequel, or sequel.
