Gotta give props to these marketing strategies.
(SPOT.ph) Die-hard fans were elated—then heartbroken—when news broke that Coldplay would be performing in Manila next year.
Some weren't happy about the choice of MOA Concert Grounds as the venue, especially since we're pretty much a nation of tiny people. Others were shocked at how much they'd have to shell out for VIP tickets—especially considering how cheaper they cost in nearby countries.
Some local Facebook pages have already jumped on the Coldplay bandwagon to cleverly promote themselves. Naturally, they quickly grew viral, too. Take Air Asia for instance, who promoted trips to Korea and Taiwan:
